You are here today after passing strict evaluation conducted by 12 outstanding reviewers sent by 5 academic societies. I sincerely congratulate you all, and this is my honor to pass my words to you.
Today you proudly present the fruits you acquired after time/energy consuming hard work. Although this time we are forced to use SNS because of Covid-19 virus, we take this world- wide pandemic positively not negatively, renew our conservative thinking, and change our action patterns. We can rather extend our activities to the world through SNS. For example Corona pandemic has made us to use SNS more effectively such as to collaborate with students with the one from foreign countries not only limited to the students in Japan. If I could mention about myself, I have drastically increased the occasion to discuss my research subjects with foreign colleagues with SNS.
Under the frame of Satellite Design Contest, we continuously forward our step toward the goal we set up without giving up our dream, by believing that our dream surely comes true. This process is common to all missions, and of course can be applied to our activities as well.
As we believe that to establish more attractive contest can contribute further to nurture the dream of the generations which follow us, and contribute to Japan and finally to the peace of Asian countries, especially, we ask you to contribute to our mission even after you graduate High school, Technical College, and University.
I sincerely hope that time will come when you can contribute to the society in any fields. I would like to close my welcome speech expecting that you study hard and strengthen your body and mind with lofty ideal, preparing for the future dedication to the society by adding the words below.
“ No dream no vision. No vision, no plan. No plan , no execution. Thus, no dream, no success”
Shoin Yoshida (1830-1859).
Finally on behalf of Satellite Design Contest Running Committee, I would like to express my sincere thanks for their supports to the 5 academic societies, related government agencies, and private companies, which are listed here.
